  • Your first and last name and email address to be on our email mailing list and receive email information from us.
  • Additional information such as your title/occupation, phone number, city, state, zip, gender, and household information to also have online access to one of our longer demo videos.

  • Information you voluntarily provide in public forumson our Site or in email correspondence with us.

Any of the foregoing personal information collected by us may be stored and retained by us and may be used as set forth in this Privacy Policy. Although we do not own any of your personal information, any feedback, comments, suggestions or subsmissions you provide to us through an email, a public forum or otherwise will be and remain our exclusive property.

Automatic Site Use Information

We use technology to automatically collect certain information from our users when they access and navigate through our Site or Service and use certain of their features. The information we collect through these technologies may include:

  • Your browser type and device identifier when you enter our Site or use our Service. This information is gathered for all visitors and users of our Site and Service and is used in aggregate form to help us understand how visitors use our Site and Service.
  • Web data and information such as your IP address, web pages on our Site you have visited, time and date information, the website you came through to reach our Site, and whether or not you clicked on any links while at our Site or using our Service.
  • Usage, viewing and technical data when you visit our Site or our Service through us or on third-party sites or platforms or open emails we send. The data entries in these logs are used for server and network operation and maintenance and to help us understand general usage patterns.
  • We may use technologies that allow us to collect information that identifies a device’s location (geolocation information) either provided by a mobile device interacting with our Site or Service or associated with your IP address.

The information we collect automatically helps us to improve our Site and Service and to deliver a better and more personalized user experience. The technologies may include standard technologies such as:

  • Cookies (or browser cookies). A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies provide information to the Site so that the Site will remember you to provide you with a better website experience; for example, when you return to our Site, cookies enable us to remember information from prior visits, and cookies may save data such as a password, username, screen preferences, and pages viewed. If you wish, you can configure your browser to block cookies; however, your ability to access certain portions of the Site or Service may be affected.
  • Web Beacons. Pages of our Site or Service and our emails may contain small electronic files known as web beacons that permit us, for example, to count users who have visited those pages or opened an email and for other related website statistics (for example, recording the popularity of certain website content and verifying system and server integrity). Unlike cookies, you cannot decline web beacons. However, setting your browser to decline cookies or to prompt you for a response generally will keep web beacons from storing your activity.
  • Flash Cookies. These are similar to cookies, except that they can store more complex data to provide greater website functionality and to remember your settings, preferences and usage.  Flash cookies operate differently than regular browser cookies, and cannot be removed or blocked via regular web browser settings. To learn more about how to manage flash cookies, you can visit the Adobe website and follow the directions provided by Adobe with respect to the Flash settings and make changes as directed therein. Limiting the acceptance of flash cookies may reduce or impede the functionality of some Flash applications.
Aggregated Non-Personal Information

We may collect general, non-personal, statistical information about the users of our Site and Service to determine information regarding Site and Service usage, and general information about our users. We may also group this information to provide general aggregated data. The aggregated data will not personally identify any user of our Site or Service.

How We Disclose the Information We Collect

We do not share, sell, rent, or transfer personal information other than as described in this Privacy Policy.  We may disclose aggregated information, and information that does not identify any individual or device.  In addition, we may disclose personal information as follows:

  • To third parties we use to support the internal operations of our Site and Service and who are bound by contractual or other obligations to use the information only for such purpose and to keep it confidential, such as payment processing.
  • If we are required to do so by law or legal process, such as to comply with any court order or subpoena or to respond to any government or regulatory request.
  • If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of VISYN, our customers or others; to protect the safety and security of our Site and Service; to enable us to take precautions against liability; or to law enforcement agencies or for an investigation related to public safety. In some cases, disclosure may be required by law to be without notice to you.
  • In addition, if VISYN is involved in a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution, or other sale or transfer of some or all of VISYN’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation, or similar proceeding or event, we may transfer the personal information we have collected or maintain to the buyer or other successor.
  • For analytics through third party analytics tools to better understand how you and others are using the S
  • For advertising through third party advertisers.

Google Analytics. To prevent Google Analytics from collecting data generated by your use of the Website (including your IP address for analytics), you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Addon at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Third party advertisers.  We engage third party ad serving companies.  These companies will use tracking technologies described above on our Site and third party sites to track your activities across time and on websites or services for purposes of associating the different devices you use, and delivering relevant ads and/or other content to you on our Site and third party websites. Tracking technologies enable these ad providers to learn about what ads you see, what ads you click, and other actions you take on our Site and other sites. This allows the ad-serving companies to provide you with more useful and relevant ads.

If we use ad servers, you generally can choose not to receive these by adjusting your advertising preferences to opt-out of interest-based ads. You should also have the ability to visit an opt-out page directly from any of the interest-based ads displayed in your browser. If you choose to opt-out of receiving interest-based ads, you will still see ads but they will not be personalized.

Additionally, Google and many other third party ad servers participate in the Digital Advertising Alliance (“DAA”) Self-Regulatory Program for Online Behavioral Advertising. This program offers a centralized location where users can make choices about the use of their information for online behavioral advertising. To learn more about the DAA and your opt-out options for their members, please visit the opt-out page on the DAA’s website at aboutads.info/choices. In addition, some of these third parties may be members of the Network Advertising Initiative (“NAI”). To learn more about the NAI and your opt-out options for their members, please visit the opt-out page on the NAI’s website at networkadvertising.org/choices/.

Any opt-out will only apply to the specific browser or device from which you opt-out and you may have to opt-out for each of your devices. Further, opting-out only means that the selected members should no longer deliver certain interest-based ads to you, but does not mean you will no longer receive any targeted content and/or ads (e.g., from other ad servers/networks). We are not responsible for effectiveness of, or compliance with, any third-parties’ opt-out options or programs or the accuracy of their statements regarding their programs.

Third Party Websites and Links

Links may be displayed on our Site or Service and you could be directed to other sites beyond our control. For example, if you click on a link, the “click” may take you off our Site and onto a different website. This may includes links from third parties, such as sponsors or partners that we agree can be displayed on our Site. These other websites may send their own cookies to you, independently collect data or solicit personal information and may or may not have their own published privacy policies. We do not control these third parties’ tracking technologies or how they may be used. If you visit a website that is linked to our Site, you should consult that site’s privacy policy before providing any personal information as these sites are not owned or controlled by us and we are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites as they may differ from our privacy practices. We recommend that you read the privacy statement of each website that collects personal information, as their privacy statement will govern any personal information you submit to those sites. This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected by us through our Site and Service.

Access, Correction and Opt Out

In certain cases, you may have the ability to view or edit your personal information online. In the event your information is not accessible online, and you wish to obtain a copy of particular information you provided to us, or if you become aware the information is incorrect and you would like us to correct it, please contact us as set forth below. We will take reasonable steps to update or correct personally identifiable information in our possession that you have previously submitted to us online upon notice to us. If you no longer wish to receive emails from us, please contact us as set forth below or follow the unsubscribe or opt out instructions made available to you on our Site or in an email we send to you.

Security and Data Retention

The security, integrity and confidentiality of your information are important to us. We have implemented technical, administrative and physical security measures that are designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, use and modification. Please be aware though that, despite our efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. We will retain your personal information for the length of time needed to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Do Not Track

Some browsers have incorporated a Do Not Track (DNT) feature. These features, when turned on, send a signal that you prefer that the website you are visiting not collect and use data regarding your online searching and browsing activities. As there is not yet a common understanding on how to interpret the DNT signal, we currently do not respond to DNT signals on our site.

If you have a comment or question about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at www.visyn.com/contact-us or write us at: VISYN, Inc., 1025 N. Old Crystal Bay Rd., Minneapolis, MN 55356.

Notice to California Residents

In the future, we may share your personal information with third parties for direct marketing purposes.
